Austria: on the road to the EU missions

Austria supports the research-driven implementation of five EU missions in the fight against cancer, in adaptation to climate change, for climate-neutral cities, on soil and water health. The European Union is funding these five EU missions under Horizon Europe.

The OECD examined Austria’s approach to the five EU missions with the help of the ‘OECD Mission Action Lab’.

The OECD will present its findings on mission-oriented policies in Austria. At the same time, this event offers the opportunity to discuss important sub-aspects of mission policy in several breakout sessions, ranging from the question of mission financing to the role of federal states and municipalities or scientific, social and economic actors.
