Trainings for SMEs: Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design Tools and Case Studies

 

Within an online training for SMEs on SSbD tools and case studies run by the IRISS project in September 2023, Clemens Wolf (BNN) presented Case Study Pitch 1: Design of Novel Electrolytes in Redox Flow Batteries. Here he presented BNN’s role in the Austrian FFG-fundedn project SABATLE to create and implement a Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design concept to mitigate potential hazards and develop more sustainable and inherently safe electrolytes. At the same time, BNN addressed public concerns, including risk assessment and stakeholder engagement.
